Fire stopping conduit penetrations
I've come in a grumpy site that has old increasing foam to natural event stop wherever open conduit trays carrying electrical cables go through a segmentation wall (brick breeze) . The foam that has been used in many places is yellow in appearance which i always thought was standard builders fizz and not fire layover that i ever believed should be rap in colour, Is my thinking right? Also is there supplemental requirements how it should be finished once the right matter is used, does the spare need to be cut back and then finished concluded with an intumescent space I've only ever seen this stuff installed in new buildings and e'er has sticker stating who as fitted the combustion stopping so is in that respect a obligation from the organism installing the occurrence stopping as to their competence or is it wilful to be installed by anyone who can follow the instructions given with the letter-perfect product.Hotkim.
